Here is my fourth entry to the 2011 Epic Movie Poster Contest by Screeners. This poster is designed for the movie treatment, ”The Ringmaster” by Stewart Goldstein.

I had two VERY different views of how this movie would look. I could definitely see this as a very grungy, B-Horror type of movie. It would be very dark and serious and almost push the limits of what is appropriate. The second way that I saw this movie was as a horror comedy type movie. When I started making this poster, I really did not have an idea of how I wanted it to turn out between the two. When I finished, it did seem more along the horror-comedy style. The poster also seemed to read as a Tim Burton style as well. It seems a little off-the wall. I picture "The Ringmaster" as a cross between several of Burton's movies and other horror-comedies. There is definitely not A LOT to this poster, but I had fun making it. I may turn this into a series poster. I have an idea for a second, and I will try to get it finished, too!

Loved the whole series but this one was my favorite of the two. I really loved how you and some of the other artists made me feel like I was Stephen King by adding my name in possessive above the title!

Thank you again! I cannot say it enough, but the poster would be nothing without your movie ideas, so you deserve the nod in the poster :) Thank you!
