The Azalea Gambit

1st Entry For The Epic Movie Contest


Reading the brief summary of 'The Azalea Gambit', I felt if it were a real movie, it would seem to be a mix of several different action/spy movies. I pictured it being a little 'Bourne', a little 'Bond', 'Mission Impossible' and several others.

This one was definitely different to make from all the other 'Teasers' that I make. And I have never made an action movie poster so it was a LOT of fun. I am actually glad I don't have internet right now. It sort of gave me a chance to review and make changes over a couple of days. There are a few things not quite happy with but overall I think it's pretty good. It's got everything you need. Guns, explosions, fast cars, and a hot girl, and an Azalea flower for a finishing touch.

I didn't put Hallbjorn in for two reasons. I felt these were the main stars and any more people would have crowded the poster up too much.

The rest of it.. Cast and crew... couple of friends and I and some fake names. LionsDen Film Production (hopefully) made up, as well as Live Rounds Productions and DotFX productions.. I think. I made the target. Also made the rated R logo, which I've used in others.

Fonts I used were 'Borg9' for the main title font, 'SteelTongs' for the credits, 'Impact' for the tagline and 'Square721 BT' for the words at the bottom.

And that's about it!

Again hope everyone likes it a bit! Without internet and lack of time, I don't know if I will be submitting another entry but I will try!
